Real estate executives like Leslie Westreich certainly know that the Conrad New York hotel is expected to open in the city this year. Situated at 102 North End and Vesey Street, the hotel will have 463 guestrooms starting at 550 square feet. The atrium lobby is fifteen stories high, with a spectacular Sol LeWitt artwork towering thirteen feet behind the check-out desk. The hotel will also feature three restaurants from Danny Meyer, including a Blue Smoke, a Shake Shack and an unnamed, high quality dining spot.
The Tribeca Citizen adds that the hotel will also have a green roof with an herb garden for Danny Meyer, as well as a roof lounge.
The hotel is not expected to open until the fall, but the restaurants may open as soon as the spring season.
